Paul Petraborg is an associate with the Petraborg Law Firm, specializing in workers’ compensation defense. Paul earned his J.D. in 1996 from Washington University School of Law. Paul is admitted to the Missouri and Illinois bar.
Paul began practicing in the workers’ compensation field as an Assistant Attorney General with the Missouri Attorney General’s office, representing the Second injury Fund and also defending the State as the employer in workers’ compensation claims.
Subsequent to that position, Paul worked in private practice, representing claimants in workers’ compensation proceedings and injured parties in third-party civil matters.
Most recently before joining the Petraborg Law Firm, Paul worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Duties in that position included representing the VA hospital’s interest as a medical provider in various workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. He successfully pursued a case to the Missouri Supreme Court for a decision in VA’s favor on a question of VA’s standing to participate in state workers’ compensation proceedings.
Paul is married to firm principal Julie Petraborg. In his free time, he enjoys traveling (with his boss), providing technical support for his wife’s theater activities, and testing his patience and mental fortitude working on his aging BMW.
